Colleen Beaulieu Thibeault

Presque Isle and Madawaska – It is with great sadness and loss that the family of Colleen is informing her friends and extended family of her passing. Colleen died peacefully surrounded by her loving family, with daughter Robin and granddaughters Arianna and Gianna at her side at St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Residence in Portland.

Colleen was born in Presque Isle to Winston H. Thomas and Frances M. (Paradis) Thomas on June 3rd 1948, the first born of three children.

During her life she worked various careers where she was always the center of fun and made many friends along the way. Anyone that had the pleasure of meeting Colleen fell in love with her. She worked several years in the personnel office at Potato Service Inc., The Aroostook Medical Center and then East Coast Potato. She owned and operated CB Enterprise’s, a franchise owner of Nutri Systems, with store fronts in Presque Isle and Madawaska. Upon closing her businesses, she finished her working career with the Madawaska Chamber of Commerce until her retirement.

Colleen was pre-deceased by her beloved father Winston and sister Susan Carter, father and mother in law Rosaire and Lucina (Bosse) Thibeault of Madawaska. Brothers and sister in law James, Geneva, and Edward Thibeault.

She is survived by her mother Frances Thomas of Portland; brother and “Tormentor” David Thomas and wife Sandra of Orrington; husband Francis Thibeault of Madawaska; two loving daughters Robin and husband Michael Rutherford of Portland and Rebecca Beaulieu of North Carolina. Colleen’s greatest love in life were her grandchildren Domenic, Arianna, and Gianna Fagone of Portland and Ryan Beaulieu, Glen Peterson, Cassie and Jimmy Cunningham of North Carolina. Colleen is also survived by sister in law's Stella Paz and husband Bill of Tampa Florida, Rose Thibeault of Southington, Conn; brother in law's Stanley Thibeault and wife Barbra of Winter Park Florida, Jeff Thibeault and wife Debbie of Madawaska; as well as several nieces and nephews.

Last but not least was Colleen’s extended family of St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Residence of Portland and Beacon Hospice of South Portland. Colleen’s family extends a heartfelt thank you for all the kindness, care, and compassion that she received from everyone she touched.

Upon Colleen’s wishes there will be no visiting hours; a graveside service will be determined at a later date in Madawaska.

In lieu of flowers, anyone that wishes can make donations in Colleen’s name to the National Stroke Associations, American Diabetes Research Foundation, St. Joseph’s Rehabilitation and Residence, or your local Animal Shelter as Colleen always loved her fur babies.
