Mr. David A. Noone, 72, of South Portland, passedaway Wednesday, February 4, 2015 at Maine MedicalCenter. Born in Rochester, NH, on November 3, 1942, David was the son of the late John Noone and Myrtle (Plumer) Perkins. He married Linda Intrieri on October 15, 1966. David was a proud individual with immeasurable perseverance. At the young age of 20, David suffered a stroke. This debilitating and limiting misfortune never held David down. His determination and strong will allowed him to become a stronger individual and appreciate the simple joys of life. David was an adventurous and fun loving person who was known for his considerate, kind and generous nature. David owned and operated No Preference Towing for many years prior to his employment with Everett Dobson and Sons until his retirement in 2002. He loved boating, was famous for his stuffed bread and had many friends who will miss him dearly. David is predeceased by his brother, Jack Noone and sister, Carol Coston. In addition to his wife of 48 years, David is survived by his beloved son, Billy Noone of South Portland; siblings, Beatrice Condon of Portland, Priscilla Cayer of PA, and Larry Noone and wife Vyara of Alfred. Also survived by his grandsons, Jacob A. Noone and Dylan J. Bresette. Visiting Hours will be held on Tuesday, Feb. 10, 2015 from 4-6PM at the Conroy-Tully Crawford South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland.
