May I express condolences to the entire Hawkes family. My parents both knew the DeRoche family and Evelyn, of course, having grown up together. Our families go back many years. Her father, Joe, used to visit us in Westbrook regularly and he walked all the way from Holm Ave, Portland. Evelyn was a true sport and wonderful person.

My thoughts and prayers are with all the family. It was a privilage to care for Evelyn on unit A and unit B. She raised a wonderful loving and caring family. She is now watching over all her family and friends from her new home. She is most likely enjoying all the folks that went to their new homes ahead of her.
