Scarborough Florence Duguay Kirwan died Wednesday, March 29, 2017 at the age of 91. She was born in Portland on June 17, 1925, the daughter of the late Adelard and Ora (Rocke) Duguay. She attended Portland schools. Florence was employed by Munjoy Department Store for 10 years. Later, she was employed by Jack Junior High School for 25 years as a guidance secretary, retiring in 1986. Following retirement, Florence enjoyed traveling across the country and Hawaii with her cousin, Mary Burdwood. Florence also enjoyed visiting her daughter Kitty and family in Florida for the holidays. In addition, Florence enjoyed bingo, knitting and many other crafts. Throughout her life, she was a member of various organizations. Florence is survived by her daughter, Katherine L. Fusco; granddaughters, Anne Marie Fusco and Theresa Mayhew; twin great-grandsons, Christopher J. and Travis J. Mayhew. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, April 2 from 2-5PM at the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland. Prayers will be recited at the funeral home on Monday, April 3 at 9:15AM followed by a 10AM Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Cross Church, 124 Cottage Road, South Portland. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery, Broadway, South Portland.
