SOUTH PORTLAND Timothy R. Toman, 32, passed away at home after battling an ongoing illness on Tuesday, June 21, 2016. Born in Portland on June 25, 1983, Timothy also known to many as Timmy was the son of Ronald A. Toman and Annette (Pomerleau) Kennedy. Growing up Timmy was known for his mischievous ways and keeping his mom and dad on their toes. He could turn the simplest tasks into adventurous ones. He attended South Portland High School. He always loved to help his dad fix things and it grew into a father and son team. For over 13 years, Tim worked alongside his father with R T Flooring. He learned a lot from his dad but also was able to teach his dad many things that he had discovered on his own. Tim was a perfectionist and worked until the job was done correctly. He recently took this same work ethic with him to Seabreeze Property Services. He was very excited about the new opportunity. Tim was a funny, ambitious and optimistic person who was always helping somebody in need. He loved his two dogs, Josh and Abby. He loved spending time with his mother and her dogs as well. He never went more than a couple days without calling her just to say I love you. He enjoyed spending time with his family cooking holiday meals, and he adored his niece and nephews. He could make them laugh more than anyone else. He also held a special place in his heart for his close friend Beth Cella, who he resided with in South Portland for many years. While Tim will be deeply missed, his memories will be held dearly by the many people who loved and cared about him. Tim is predeceased by his grandparents, William and Dorothy Toman and Roland Pomerleau; cousin, Judith (Brown) Anderschat. He is survived by his father, Ronald Toman; mother, Annette(Pomerleau) Kennedy and husband Fred; sisters, Amanda Wertanen and husband Brent and Joanie Binette and husband Corey; special friend, Beth Cella; grandmother, Rosalie (Knowlton) Pomerleau; niece and nephews, Lillian, Griffin and Oliver. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Visiting Hours will be held from 4-7PM on Tuesday, June 28 in the Conroy-Tully Walker South Portland Chapel, 1024 Broadway, South Portland.
